- How much does Packwright charge for fulfillment?
- $2.99 flat fee per order for pick & pack, up to 3 items. Bring your own shipping label or we buy it at cost with no markup. Returns are $3.99, including exchanges. Storage is billed per cubic foot per day based on inventory age. That's the whole pricing model.
- What exactly does the $2.99 per order get me?
- Pick, pack, packaging materials, and carrier handoff for up to 3 items. We pull your items from the shelf, pack them in a box or padded bubble mailer (we provide both), add void fill so nothing shifts in transit, apply the shipping label, and hand it to the carrier. If your order has 4+ items, it's an extra $0.50 per additional item. Every order ships in an outer container. Packaging materials and void fill are included, not charged separately.
- What stores does Packwright integrate with?
- At this time we integrate with Shopify and TikTok Shop. We sync your orders automatically. No integration fees.
- Are there any hidden fees?
- No. There are no receiving fees, no inbound placement fees, no box & tape surcharges, no integration fees, no account management fees, and no platform fees. You pay for pick & pack, shipping at cost, and storage.
- What are the storage fees?
- Storage is billed per cubic foot per day, based on how long each carton has been stored. 0-30 days: $0.05/ft³/day (~$1.50/mo). 31-60 days: $0.10/ft³/day (~$3.00/mo). 61-90 days: $0.20/ft³/day (~$6.00/mo). 91-120 days: $0.35/ft³/day (~$10.50/mo). 120+ days: $0.50/ft³/day (~$15.00/mo). This encourages healthy inventory turnover and means you only pay more for stock that sits.
- How does shipping pricing work?
- If you purchase shipping through your platform (TikTok Shop, Shopify), we just print the label and ship it. No shipping cost from us. If you'd like us to buy the label, you pay exactly what we pay with no markup.
- How quickly are orders shipped?
- Most orders ship the same day they come in. Our SLA is 48 hours, but we usually beat it by a wide margin.
- What happens when a customer wants to return something?
- $3.99 per return. We handle the whole process, including exchanges if the customer wants a different item.
- Can you handle multi-item orders and kits?
- Yes. If a customer orders 3 different items, we pick all 3 and pack them together in one shipment. Up to 3 items are included in the $2.99 flat fee, with $0.50 per additional item. We don't offer custom inserts, branded tissue, or special pack-out instructions at this time.
- What if something goes wrong with an order?
- If we mess up, you don't pay for that order. And if you have a question about a shipment, you can pick up the phone and talk to the team handling your orders.
- How do I send you my inventory?
- During onboarding we'll set you up with an address to ship to. When you're ready to send inventory, you create an ASN (advance shipment notice) in the dashboard so we know what's coming. Once your shipment arrives, we receive it, check it against the ASN, and get it stored. Your inventory is tracked in real time from there.
- How small is too small to use a 3PL?
- There's no minimum. At $2.99 per order, most sellers find a 3PL pays for itself the moment packing boxes starts taking time away from growing their business. If you're spending your evenings taping shipments instead of making sales, you're ready.
- How does Packwright compare to other 3PLs?
